Ofgem, Smart Energy GB, and energy suppliers have launched an information campaign ahead of the RTS switch-off later this year.

From June, the radio signal that controls RTS electricity meters is being switched off and is set to affect up to 600,000 energy consumers throughout Great Britain.

The RTS taskforce, which is an energy industry collective including energy suppliers, Ofgem, Smart Energy GB, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and Government, is keen to work with cross-industry partners such as housing associations to achieve the urgent goal of upgrading all RTS across the country.

As part of the information campaign, housing associations are able to access a fortnightly RTS Bulletin, a stakeholder toolkit, and other resources.

Access to the toolkit, bulletin, and further details on the information campaign can be found here.
