Following from the earlier research that we have undertaken with minoritised ethnic communities on their use of online services, and service providers in housing, health and energy as part of the UKRI funded “Protecting Minoritised Ethnic Communities Online” ( PRIME) project, led by Heriot-Watt, Glasgow, Cranfield, York, and Open Universities), a critical stage in thr research has been reached, which is the leading of a series of three co-design workshops.
Your organisation has been identified as an incredibly important stakeholder and a huge contributor in tackling fairness and trustworthiness of UK digital services.
PRIME Co-Design Workshops, 1st workshop: 26 October 2023, Birmingham | 30th October 2023, Glasgow
These workshops will facilitate conversations on issues around access and outcomes of digital services between Minoritised Ethnic communities and stakeholders across the health, energy and social housing sectors.
The workshops aim to enhance our collective understanding of how harms are occurring and why, and discuss potential solutions to design fairer and more trustworthy digital services for Minoritised Ethnic people.
We’ve identified you as an important stakeholder to be part of this conversation, especially given your wealth of experience and expertise. We hope you will join us in our workshops to hear more about and contribute towards improving digital services for Minoritised Ethnic communities living in England and Scotland. Full details of the workshops and how to register can be found on our Eventbrite pages.
