Join SFHA at this year's Governing Body Members' Conference to learn how strong and effective leadership from Board Members can set housing associations on the path towards a successful future.

Amid the array of challenges facing Scotland's housing associations, the role of a Governing Body has never been more crucial. Leadership from Committees and Boards is key to embedding robust governance and shaping an organisation's strategic direction.

This thought-provoking one day conference for Governing Body Members provides delegates with the opportunity to meet peers from across Scotland, to share best practice, ideas and common challenges.

Whilst attendees will hear from expert speakers throughout the day, this year the conference will place particular emphasis on group discussions. It will create a safe space for GBMs to discuss key issues facing the sector, how they can create impact as Board Members, and look towards a successful future.

Why attend?

The conference will include shared experiences from governance specialists; regulators and other social landlords – offering delegates an insightful and widespread perspective.

It will provide an opportunity for Governing Body Members who attend to network with peers from across the country and come away with fresh ideas and different perspectives.

Is the conference for you?

This participative, engaging conference will be hugely beneficial to any Governing Body Members who attend, regardless of level of experience.
