Hebridean Housing Partnership will launch the Outer Hebrides Housing Needs and Demand Assessment (HNDA) this week. Every household n the Outer Hebrides will receive an invitation to take part in this survey about housing and communities. The independent survey is being carried out by Tighean Innse Gall (TIG) on behalf of Hebridean Housing Partnership.
As well as a paper survey being delivered by post, there is also an online survey available. This will allow anyone who wishes to move home to the Outer Hebrides or to relocate here to take part. The online survey can be found here.
Some partners of Hebridean Housing Partnerhip have taken the time to share why the survey is so important to them. The video can be found here:
The results of this survey will inform the long-term strategic decisions taken by Hebridean Housing Partnership on the future of its existing homes and on investment in new housing in its communities.
Hebridean Housing Partnership said: “HHP wish to support communities and grow our rural populations, so the outcomes will also be shared with the Comhairle and our key partners to shape and inform the future plans for the islands. The survey will also look to identify people’s aspirations for where they want to live and the kind of housing they want.
“We are grateful to everyone who takes part in the survey”
A prize draw will take place with a top prize of a £100 Co-op voucher.
