The world of cyber security can often be intimidating and fraught with confusing misinformation. Lugo is delivering free ‘Cyber Support Roadshows’, at venues throughout Scotland, where you will learn the truth about cyber threats that can affect your housing association or co-operative.
Any interested staff from housing associations and co-operatives are welcome to attend. The sessions will be run by Lugo’s Cyber Security Consultant, Michael Kleinman.
This is an opportunity to hear first hand from experts about how to keep your association’s data, staff, and reputation safe.
What can I expect?
Lugo’s Cyber Support Roadshow will examine some of the most prominent cyber threats that organisations in Scotland face. More importantly, Lugo will go over the best countermeasures to these attacks, so you can learn how to best protect your association's data and staff.
The speaker will be focusing on one of the most effective ways to deter cyber-attacks, the Cyber Essentials Certification. He will explain the five levels of protection that Cyber Essentials can provide and how they work.
Don’t worry, all technical aspects will be discussed in plain English, with as little technical jargon as possible.
Towards the end of the morning, attendees will be walked through the IASME Cyber Essentials questionnaire. Lugo’s Cyber Security Consultant, Michael Kleinman, will help translate the technical results into actionable information for your business.
