Our strategic partner Changeworks is looking for completed zero direct emissions heating (ZDEH) retrofit projects to be developed into a case study. These will be published in a report by Scottish Government later this year.
It is particularly interested in any installations completed in the last 5 years which involve non-government funding, ground source heat pumps and tenements. Although, other types of projects and heat sources (air source, direct electric, and heat networks) will also be included.
Changeworks is delivering this work for Scottish Government, via ClimateXChange. The aim of the project is to support other social landlords in the delivery of similar projects. The research will show example projects through a series of case studies and draw common barriers to ZDEH retrofit, offering a series of solutions to these.
This is a great opportunity to share your contributions towards net zero and you will be able to use your case study as a standalone resource. Changeworks may also be able to support you with additional evaluation on your project, if this is something you were not able to do at the time.
Becoming a case study will involve you and any members of the wider project team, answering some questions about the project, and sharing of any existing reports or detail with a Changeworks Researcher. The case study will then be prepared and sent to you for sign off.
If you’d like your project to be considered as a case study, please get in touch with Agnes Berner (aberner@changeworks.org.uk), Researcher at Changeworks, by Wednesday 4 October.
