Programme announced for SFHA’s Energy and Net Zero Conference

SFHA’s Energy and Net Zero Conference will explore affordable solutions to the affordable warmth challenges many will face this winter as well as the support needed to deliver the transition to net zero in a fair and just way.  
 
The conference, sponsored by SFHA strategic partners Changeworks and Warmworks, will showcase examples of collaborative and tenant-led projects and the finance and funding mechanisms needed to support retrofit activity at scale.  

The programme for the conference, on 6 December, has now been announced.  

Programme highlights include:

  • Tackling fuel poverty within the context of global price rises 
  • Supporting a just transition to net zero 
  • Health and wellbeing aspects of retrofit 
  • Developing new finance models 
  • EESSH2 review and Green Heat Finance Taskforce 
  • Low-cost storage heating optimisation

The conference is aimed at staff working in energy efficiency and net zero for the social housing sector. It will also be of interest to fuel poverty/energy advisers and housing management and tenancy sustainment staff.
