Providing reassurance: Jakub's journey

Jakub's family raised concerns with his care worker about whether he was eating or drinking properly as they felt he may not have been. This gave them concerns about his wellbeing and they wanted to make sure he was still able to live at home and take care of himself. 

Addressing concerns

Having remote monitoring software Lilli installed helped Jakub's carer see that he was regularly using the kettle and microwave, indicating that we was using his kitchen appliances to make himself meals and cups of tea. This showed that he was eating and drinking as expected. 

Supporting a care decision

Using evidence from Lilli, Jakub's carer was able to confidently show that she did not need to alter his care package as he was managing his meals well. This reassurance Jakub's family that all was well and he was living safely and comfortably at home. 

The outcome

Lilli provided Jakub's care worker with evidence and his family with peace of mind that he could manage his needs, and avoided a higher care package that he didn't need, allowing him to continue living indepently at home.
