The next phase involves adopting the Excellence Framework, which is expected to further strengthen WGHC’s performance and evaluation.
Colin Fraser, Chair of the WGHC Committee of Management commented:“I’m delighted that WGHC has received the highly prestigious “Investors in Excellence”. There are 595 Cooperative Organisations in Scotland and I’m proud to say WGHC is the first to be awarded this recognition. On behalf of the Committee members and all our tenants, I would like to thank our CEO, COO and all the staff team for their diligence and commitment in achieving this award.
The Committee of Management at West Granton Housing Co-operative is composed of WGHC tenants who carry the significant responsibility of making strategic decisions on behalf of their fellow residents. This responsibility is taken seriously and is guided at all times by the core principle that tenants are paramount in everything WGHC does.
