Scottish Rural and Island Housing Conference to focus on net zero

This year’s Scottish Rural and Islands Housing Conference, taking place between 27-28 October, will explore the journey towards net zero for rural communities.
The conference, hosted by Lochaber Housing Association, will look at topical issues concerning rural housing and communities in Scotland, initiatives that are taking place

- Highlands and Islands Enterprise: HIE strategy and operating plan
- Tackling the cost of living for tenants
- Energy systems of the future
- Making a positive social impact
The year’s event also sees the return of The RIHAF Development of the 2020’s Award, an opportunity for rural housing associations across Scotland to enter their best developments.
The pre-conference RIHAF meeting for RIHAF members will take place on Wednesday 26 October 2022.
