What are you discussing at the conference and why is this an important issue?

Changeworks has one clear purpose: To decarbonise Scotland’s homes. We will share insights into our new three year strategy and show how that is shaping our current and future service delivery, supporting housing association deliver on net zero and a just transition.

What does Scotland’s social housing sector need to continue playing its part in tackling climate change?

Confidence and funding. Confidence in the correct net zero pathway for their stock that meets or surpasses regulations and delivers for tenants. Funding or a funding mechanism to deliver on that.

How can we inspire low-carbon behaviours?

By demonstrating that low carbon behaviours are a win-win; reducing energy demand, costs and emissions while increasing personnel well-being.
