Due to strong governance within the social housing sector, the Scottish Housing Regulator has rarely had to intervene regarding RSL matters. On the rare occasions this has occurred, there are inspiring examples of how organisations have worked tirelessly to turn things around and achieve the best outcome for tenants.

SFHA’s Governance Conference, on 4 October, will explore two examples of positive outcomes for tenants following intervention, one being where an organisation has transferred its engagements to another and a second where an organisation retained its independence.

The conference will also explore lessons learned from the pandemic and demonstrate how the sector has emerged stronger on the other side despite challenges.

Who should attend?

The conference will provide an opportunity for both staff and governing body members to network with peers from across the country, gain fresh ideas and hear different perspectives.

SFHA will be providing a courtesy coach to transport delegates between Glasgow city centre and Edinburgh.

Tickets are priced at:

  • £240 for SFHA members
