SFHA Governance Guidance Review: first two documents now available
Model Role Descriptions for Governing Body Members and Governing Body Members' Guide now available for SFHA members.
As part of the ongoing review of SFHA Governance Guidance, SFHA is pleased to make available to members the first two updated documents: Model Role Descriptions for Governing Body Members and a Governing Body Members' Guide.
The documents, have been reviewed with input from a group of SFHA members – and are the first of five documents that SFHA will publish as part of Block One in the review process. SFHA would like to say a huge thank you to all of those who were involved in the Block One review group and to all of those who provided case studies/examples for inclusion.
Linda Ewart, who drafted the revisions on behalf of SFHA, will be speaking at a free event on Thursday 11 February 2021 to officially launch all five documents. Refreshed Governing Body Annual Review Guidance, Senior Staff Succession Planning Guidance and Succession Planning and Recruitment for Governing Body Members will also be published ahead of the event.
