SFHA has renewed its partnership with BE-ST (formerly CSIC). SFHA and BE-ST partnership aims to create a reciprocal relationship between the two organisations and a supporting programme of activities which will, ultimately, lead to an increase the affordability, sustainability, quality and supply of housing association homes in Scotland through innovation.
Built Environment Smarter Transformation (BE-ST) formerly Construction Scotland Innovation Centre was launched in October 2014, to deliver transformational change in the Scottish construction sector. BE-ST relaunched in April 2022 with a renewed mission and focus to accelerate the built environment’s transition to net zero.
A range of supporting activities will be undertaken to achieve this objective with consideration given to relationships with other SFHA associates, including existing strategic partnerships, to ensure that activities complement, rather than duplicate where possible. In addition to these activities, it is proposed that BE-ST and SFHA work together as strategic partners to support broader engagement between the two organisations.
