Director of External Affairs at SFHA, Carolyn Lochhead said: “Today’s figures from the Scottish Social Housing Charter demonstrate once again the excellent work done by Scotland’s housing associations.

“Such high satisfaction figures from tenants again underline the exceptional work of our members, with 88% of tenants satisfied with their homes, 82% believing their rent is value for money and 89% satisfied with their opportunities to participate.

“The Charter has also shown an increase in tenants satisfied with the quality of their homes to 85%, whilst housing associations are dealing with emergency repairs even more quickly- taking just 3.2 hours on average.

“It’s a reminder that Scotland’s housing associations play a vital role in providing  warm, secure and affordable rented homes, which are crucial to tackling poverty and delivering a fairer and more equal country.”
