The Scottish Government is holding a series of workshops over the coming weeks focused on the Social Housing Net Zero Heat Fund (SHNZHF).
Zero Waste Scotland Scottish Government will be hosting the workshops - in-person and online - to inform prospective applicants of available grant funding for heat decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects across the Scottish social housing estate.
The workshops will include:
- A session on available funding, eligibility criteria and how to apply;
- A session on Scottish Government policies and consultations including social housing policy;
- A session on appropriate technologies and measures for refurbishment of social housing to increase energy efficiency and to decarbonise heating;
- Presentations from case study organisations who have previously received funding through the scheme;
- An opportunity to meet and discuss potential projects and any barriers to implementation with peers, government and technical advisors.
Workshops are exclusively for those working within Local Authority Housing Teams or Housing Associations.
