SFHA is working hard to help the Scottish Government understand the impact of a rent freeze in the social sector after the emergency legislation expires in March 2023. Please fill in our short survey on proposed rent increase options. The short survey on proposed rent increase options for 2023/24, along with other relevant information, is to be completed by 11 November.
SFHA is working with GWSF, with the aim of gathering data from as much of the sector as possible, so we can highlight that our members are conscious of rent affordability and intend on applying below inflation rent increases. We will not share information on an individual level but, instead, will use the data to determine average proposed increases, evidence the impact of any freeze/cap, and demonstrate the breadth of consultation undertaken by the sector.
