The Sustainability Reporting Standard (SRS) is a voluntary reporting framework, covering 46 criteria across ESG considerations such as affordability, carbon emission and energy efficiency, safety, equality, diversity and inclusion and resident voice.

More than 160 organisations have signed up to SRS as either SRS adopters or endorsers across the UK. Of these, 38 are lenders or investors with the others being housing providers. This includes housing providers managing more than 2.3 million homes and funders supplying almost all the c.£140 billion of private finance to the sector.
