Utilising serious games to make positive social change

Serious games are playful, interactive tools that tackle real issues in a fresh and creative way. They help players explore complex problems, gain new perspectives, and collaborate on solutions. Socialudo use games to spark honest conversations, strengthen teams, and build leadership skills through active, experiential learning.

You’ll leave this session with renewed energy, practical insights – and maybe a few surprises about your own leadership style!

The power of play to support learning at work

Socialudo is a social enterprise dedicated to developing serious games that harness the power of play to drive positive real-world change. Founded by Professor Vikki McCall and Professor Alasdair Rutherford, our organisation was established to inspire strategic and creative thinking within the housing sector workforce.

Socialudo's serious game methodology effectively promotes solidarity, connection, and best practices. You can find more information about Socialudo on our website. Additionally, we invite you to watch a video by project lead, Professor Vikki McCall, to learn more about serious games.
