The SFHA Tech Forum recently commissioned a report on Socialudo, exploring how this innovative tool can reveal real-life challenges in housing, health, and social care.

The report highlights what happens when professionals step into the shoes of the people they support: navigating fragmented systems, repeating their story, and trying to access the right help at the right time. Using Socialudo’s serious games, participants experienced these challenges firsthand and discovered where small, practical tools can make a big difference in independence, connection, and dignity.

Key findings from the report:

  • Technology works best when it feels human, supporting relationships and everyday life
  • Simple, well-designed tools can transform daily experiences
  • Solutions should be co-designed, accessible, and joined-up across services
  • Prevention and early support improve outcomes and reduce pressure on services

The report shows that tools like Socialudo aren’t just about digital innovation—they’re about making systems fairer, more connected, and more responsive to the people who rely on them.
