How can housing associations drive local climate action?

With Scotland’s social housing providers responsible for a major share of the country’s homes, they have a key role to play in cutting emissions - especially when it comes to making change at the local level.

At this year’s Annual Conference, Changeworks’ Ian Cochran and Marjan van de Weg will look at how housing associations can start taking practical steps now to support place-based decarbonisation, whether through their own initiatives or in partnership with councils and communities.

They’ll explore what effective, local climate action really looks like in practice, the challenges involved, and the innovations, big and small, that can help us get there.
