Housing Europe is participating in a European-wide partnership to create an online tool that could help put in contact building owners keen on offering their “to be refurbished” buildings as innovation test-beds and innovative technology providers in search of a suitable “pilot site”.
One of the major challenges in the public, social and cooperative housing sector is to improve our capacity to undertake the green transition in a socially and affordable way. One of the key points is how we can facilitate housing providers information on, and access to, new building technologies that are more sustainable, energy efficiency and allow faster implementation with less occupant disruption, to be deployed in for the refurbishment of their building stock or in new builds, and to test these technologies as pilots within their stock.
With its questionnaire, Housing Europe intend to collect the general processes used by social housing providers to manage and implement energy refurbishment of their building stock as well as their requirements on how such a tool could take those processes into account.
As the questions relate to the management of your organisation’s refurbishment plans and their implementation, Housing Europe ask ask that the questionnaire is completed by an individual with relevant knowledge in this area.
This survey will take 30 minutes to complete.
