The Leadership Team has announced that it has joined the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations as a sector associate, enabling it to bring its approach to management development to the sector.

The Leadership Team specialises in helping managers turn into leaders and has worked with several housing associations and co-operatives. Its training includes hearing from world-class subject experts, working directly with peer groups and creating practical learning programmes which stick.

Its areas of expertise include, but are not limited to:

  • Coaching skills
  • Leadership habits
  • Communication
  • Team building
  • Resilience
  • Engagement
  • Creativity

The Leadership Team delivers training in real-time, over a 12-month period via Zoom: half day interactive sessions, backed up with bespoke materials via its learning platform.

Costs start from under £1,900 per person for a 12-month programme, for not for profits and charities. It is currently offering a further discount of 27% for its next course, in 2022

The Leadership Team said: “Our focus is to turn education into action. Only in this way do our programmes bring value to both the particpants and the organisation.

We believe ourselves to be relatively unique in creating a mechanism by which your organisation can measure the ROI of our programmes.”

Recent feedback from delegates:

“Really impressed, engaging, interactive and thought provoking. Even though we are so early in our journey with the leadership team, I can see already how it will transform my work and home life.”

“I've worked in the charity sector for over 20 years and the training that is usually offered (that is within a charity budget), has more often than not left me uninspired and underwhelmed. I've always found it a shame that good quality training was often out of reach. However, the Leadership Team course (which came in under budget) has so far been inspiring and given high quality content. It has already given me tools I can actually use in my operational team and in my leadership team. There is a good balance of 'business' talk, but with adaptions that can be used in a charitable environment. I can't recommend this course enough.”
