Members' invited to pitch for SFHA Engagement Conference session

SFHA's Virtual Engagement Conference on 10 June will hear from housing practitioners and third sector partners about current requirements, latest developments, and good practice in engagement and participation.

We are giving SFHA members the chance to take part in the final plenary session at SFHA’s first ever conference focusing on tenant engagement. We are looking for three of our members to present examples of best practice to showcase some of the fantastic tenant engagement work that is taking place in the housing association and co-operative sector.

Effective participation allows tenants to influence decisions about the services they receive. It gives landlords better links to the community and the opportunity to work with others.

We want to hear from members about what their housing association or co-operative is doing to ensure that customers are really engaged, able to influence and more connected. The workshop will involve a 7 to 10 minute ‘lightning talk’ from each successful organisation. This opportunity is for organisations that have embedded valuable engagement services and deliverables into their priorities as a central cost.

Pitches should be emailed to Karen Devin, SFHA Events Manager, by Friday 30 April kdevin@sfha.co.uk. We will confirm details with successful applicants the following week.
