SFHA Engagement Conference to feature Knowledge Exchange sessions

Feedback from delegates is vital in order to ensure that SFHA events meet your needs and expectations. Recent feedback has shown that face-to-face interaction was an aspect that was missing from our virtual events, so we’ve listened to you and acted on this.

Virtual Engagement Conference, 10 June 2021

Our Engagement Conference on 10 June will feature three ‘Knowledge Exchange’ sessions, each focusing on a different aspect of engagement and participation. The sessions will hear from our speakers first, before shifting the focus to delegates, allowing you to share comments and insights and to ask questions. You will be able to have your camera and, when invited, microphone enabled. This will give you an opportunity to share your experiences with others and to drive your own learning.

Each session will run three times throughout the event so that each delegate has a chance to attend every session they are keen to participate in.

Here's a look at our 'Knowledge Exchange' sessions:

SCVO Digital in the House 2.0

Hear from SCVO about the lessons it has learned from its first Digital Champions in Social Housing programme and learn more about how you can get involved in the next one.

Customer experience – are RSLs seen as landlords or service providers?

Clyde Valley Housing Association has commissioned research to understand customers’ expectations of it as a housing provider. This session will explore its insight and learning to date.

Not another survey! What is needed to ensure wider engagement?

Tenant participation is critical as we emerge from the pandemic and look to rebuild and shape our services. Hear from TPAS about what tools are available, and which skills are needed, to make sure that customers can participate in a way that meets their needs.  ?

Free tenant tickets – limited spaces

Tenant participation is critical to housing associations and co-operatives, and we’re keen to give tenants a chance to attend and join in the discussion at our Engagement Conference.

We’re giving away 10 free tickets to tenants of SFHA member organisations. The selection process will be completely random. We will notify your organisation via email if selected – a maximum of two tickets can be allocated per organisation, and you can apply for these on the event booking page. The draw will be made on Tuesday 1 June.
