SFHA to launch training series on understanding domestic abuse in social housing

In partnership with Scottish Women's Aid, we're inviting members to join us for a taster event on understanding domestic abuse in social housing.

Our training series on understanding domestic abuse in social housing, delivered in partnership with Scottish Women's Aid, will launch on 5 August with a taster session.

In this session we will hear examples of from two housing associations about their operational experience of dealing with domestic abuse. Scottish Womens Aid will speak about its good practice guidance and discuss what will be covered in the training in September. 

This session is a free taster session for the upcoming training taking place on the following dates

  • 2 September - Understanding domestic abuse in a social housing context
  • 9 September - Leading others: domestic abuse in a social housing context

Who should attend?
This taster session is for senior staff who are interested in sending their staff to the two modules taking place in September.
