This week, David Linden MP led a Westminster Hall debate into the cost-of-living crisis in Scotland. Noting the findings of SFHA’s report ‘It’s Your Life’s Opportunities’, he outlined the devastating impact that high food and fuel costs were having on Scotland’s social tenants. Calling on the UK Parliament to bring forward the recommendations in the report, David noted that an energy social tariff and social security reforms were needed urgently.

This follows the launch of the report in December at a House of Commons event. SFHA will continue to work with the UK Parliament to press for the changes needed.
