Caledonia Housing Association has been ranked 9th in the top 50 Scottish companies to work for by Best Companies.

Best Companies, which involves a comprehensive survey of employee experience, also improved CHA’s position in the top UK housing organisations to work for annual awards, climbing to 9th position.

Caledonia staff celebrated the results during their annual conference in Stirling.  The focus of the conference was “Shaping the Future Together”.  Caledonia employees from across Scotland celebrated achievements of the past 12 months, attended workshops on the future of work and tenancy services, while hearing from tenants on how quality homes and services changes lives.

To determine its rankings, Best Companies surveys employees through a range of questions relating to all aspects of the employee experience. It assesses a comprehensive range of factors including leadership, the quality of management, personal growth, teamwork, giving back, wellbeing and salaries and benefits.

Julie Cosgrove, Chief Executive, Caledonia Housing Association, said: “Our staff conference is always a great opportunity for us to get together as an organisation, reflecting on our successes over the past year and outlining our next steps as we build and prepare for the future.

“It has been fantastic to see the progress we’ve made year-on-year in the Best Companies awards, both as a Scottish employer and as a UK housing organisation. At Caledonia, we work hard to create a positive work culture where our people can thrive.  The success of what we do and what we achieve is down to our people.  This year’s conference highlighted once again the vital role all our teams play in making a real difference for our tenants and communities."
