Introducing People Collective: A new People & Culture network

This year, SFHA is launching a new, dynamic platform for Senior Leaders and/or HR professionals in the housing sector. “People Collective”, in partnership with McKinney HR, will bring together human resources leaders and practitioners from housing associations across Scotland to connect, learn, and share best practice focusing on strategic HR topics.

The forum is designed to strengthen collaboration across the sector, providing space for meaningful discussion on emerging challenges, innovative people strategies, and shared solutions that support the vital work of housing associations.

This forum gives Senior Leaders and/or HR professionals in the housing sector the opportunity to come together, build community, and shape the future of their workforce.”

People Collective will host regular networking events, expert-led sessions, and interactive workshops focused on key themes chosen by you such as navigating organisational change, aligning people strategy to business strategy, leadership development, equality, diversity and inclusion, plus the evolving role of HR in the housing sector. On some sessions business case studies may be relevant or an expert Speaker may also be present to help drive solutions.

The inaugural People Collective event will take place on Thursday 20th November on Microsoft Teams, marking the beginning of a new chapter in cross-sector collaboration and professional development for HR professionals within the membership.  This event will give attendees the opportunity to explore the first area of interest, which will be chosen by you. 

To enable us to gather information on what you would like to see from the forum, we have designed a quick multiple choice form with a selection of topics for you to choose from (or add your own suggestions). This information will help both SFHA and McKinney HR your priorities and ensure the first People Collective session is productive, engaging and relevant.
