Following a highly competitive recruitment process, Trust has announced the appointment of Jackie McIntosh as its next Chief Executive.

Jackie will officially assume the role at the end of March, succeeding current Chief Executive, Rhona McLeod, who will retire at the end of the financial year.

Jackie has been Trust's Director of Assets & Sustainability and a member of its Executive Team since 2021, playing a leading role in delivering the organisation's strategy and transforming its new build and asset management capabilities. She has led an award-winning development programme, driven investment in homes, strengthened health and safety and hugely advanced Trust's net-zero plans.

Jackie is well known in the affordable housing sector and brings a wealth of leadership and sector experience having previously held a number of senior positions at both Wheatley Group and Glasgow City Council, along with serving on a variety of boards including SFHA, Homes For Scotland and Home Group (Scotland).

Dr Norval Bryson, Trust's Chair of the Board, said: "We are delighted to appoint Jackie as our next Chief Executive. Jackie brings a collaborative leadership approach and strategic focus to the role, along with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional services and creating positive impact for our customers and communities.

"This appointment reflects the depth of leadership talent within Trust and our commitment to growing our own.  Jackie is the right appointment to build on the modern and forward-thinking organisation we have become under Rhona's leadership and will guide Trust through its next chapter and strategy.”

Jackie McIntosh added:I am both delighted and honoured to be appointed as Trust’s next Chief Executive. Rhona will be a hard act to follow, having transformed Trust into the modern, thriving, high performing and customer focussed organisation it is today. I am very excited about building on that legacy and working closely with our talented Board and colleagues across Trust to continue to make a positive difference in the lives of our customers and communities we serve across Scotland.”
