I wanted to join the events team because they’re doing lots of great at SFHA and the sector as a whole, contributing to meaningful conversations and helping connections develop. Joining the SFHA events team felt like a great way to play my part in supporting that sense of community, while also helping deliver events that inspire, inform, and bring real value to members.
There’s lots I’m looking forward to, but getting to meet everyone at different events and training sessions is definitely my top priority! Also finding more information about the sector coming from a charity sector background and helping shape events that are not only engaging and enjoyable, but also relevant to the challenges and opportunities our sector faces.
Some people might have met me at our recent RIHAF conference, the next event you might see me at will be TEC Conference 22nd October. I’m really looking forward to meeting members and hearing what you’d love to see from future events – do come and chat!
